Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has acquired 162 Bitcoin (BTC) for approximately $13.5 million, according to an announcement via X on Thursday. The Bitcoins, obtained during a period when the cryptocurrency's price ranged from $81,000 to $85,000, come at an average cost of $83,123 each.
