World Liberty Financial, a Donald Trump-backed crypto venture, has now unveiled a strategic token reserve that is set to bolster major cryptocurrencies.

In an announcement on Saturday, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) said that the Macro Strategy will serve as the financial backbone of the platform. The platform is set to enhance stability, foster growth and build trust with the strategic token reserve.

According to the announcement, the Macro Strategy will serve as the financial backbone of WLFI, enabling the platform to enhance stability, foster growth, and build trust.

The Donald Trump-backed crypto venture is also said to be seeking strategic partnerships with traditional financial institutions to contribute tokenized assets to the reserve.

The announcement comes a week after WLFI announced its plans to create a token reserve. While speaking at the inaugural summit of Ondo Finance in New York, World Liberty Financial’s co-founder Chase Herro announced the platform’s plans to create a token reserve. However, Herro did not specify the purpose of holding a reserve at the time.

At the time of the announcement, World Liberty Financial, which is headed by Trump's friend Andy Dean, had nearly $39 million in crypto assets. According to Arkham Intelligence data, the majority of the holdings are in Tron and USDC. Trump and his affiliates own a 60% stake in the platform.
