"One thing they don't tell you is that most countries will let you buy bitcoin on an exchange, but they won't let you sell on exchanges for your local currency, if you want to sell your bitcoin you have to find a private buyer. Also, the Transaction fees are high every time bitcoin is moved because the exchange that is used to purchase the bitcoin also charges a fee.

So if you want to move large amounts of bitcoin out of your exchange wallet and into a more secure "hard wallet" for offline storage, you'll have to pay to move them off the exchange and also to put them into the hard wallet. Bitcoin can take up to 3 hours to complete transactions. They say bitcoin cash and some of these other "forked tokens" are going to be faster, but what does that mean for bitcoin?
