See you in the next news, stay healthy and happy! Crypto assets continue to become widespread around the world. The new US President Donald Trump's intense support for the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) naturally causes companies in the US to turn to crypto assets. It is now observed that US Members of Parliament, as well as companies, are purchasing crypto assets. In his financial disclosure report submitted to the US House of Representatives on January 1, Rep. Mike Collins disclosed that he invested between $1,001 and $15,000 in a token called Ski Mask Dog (SKI), which was launched in May 2024. According to the shared declaration, Collins purchased up to $15,000 worth of this token three times between December 1-3, about a month after the US elections and during a period when the prices of many cryptocurrencies were rising. It remains unclear whether his investment was linked to his election victory. Collins declared that he purchased SKI, as well as Ethereum (ETH), Velodrome (VELO), Aerodrome Finance (AERO), and The Graph (GRT) during his tenure. Under the STOCK Act, US lawmakers are largely required to disclose stock and cryptocurrency transactions. As of January 3, Rep. Collins appears to be the only member of Congress to report in 2025.
