To discuss this and more we’re joined in the studio by Brock Pierce, a former Hollywood star turned blockchain pioneer, impact investor and philanthropist with an extensive track record of founding, advising and investing in disruptive businesses.

Brock describes himself more significantly as a futurist, philanthropist, solutionary and creator who has become one of the most significant and impactful figures in the cryptocurrency and decentralised finance realm.

He has been credited with pioneering the market for digital currency and has raised more than $5B for companies he has founded, which by the way includes EOS Alliance, Block.one, Blockchain Capital, Tether, Mastercoin (first ICO), and Lighthouse NFT Smart Gallery, the first physical NFT smart gallery.

He is also the Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and a co-founder of the Bitcoin Supper Club way back in 2013, when crypto barely warranted a cursory glance in the mainstream media outlets.

A true visionary and perhaps the master of reinvention, Brock has led a fascinating life. Having spent his childhood and teenage years starring on the big screen, in 2020 he ran for President of the United States as an Independent, and received the first-ever US presidential vote cast on the blockchain.

As an early investor in Bitcoin and one of the largest investors in the Ethereum crowd sale, Brock also founded IMI Exchange, the world’s leading digital currency marketplace for games, with annual sales exceeding $1B and investors such as Goldman Sachs.

Brock believes that blockchain and crypto are the driving force behind the fourth industrial revolution that will undoubtedly transform our world as we know and impact every industry and service imaginable.

Beyond blockchain, Brock is a serial entrepreneur who believes that the key to promoting entrepreneurship is promoting a culture that embraces failure as someone himself that feels very comfortable venturing into the unknown and taking risks.
