MERL is the latest innovation in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Built on Polygon's ZK rollup technology, Merlin Chain combines the security of Bitcoin with the flexibility of the Ethereum ecosystem.

With Total Value Locked (TVL) reaching $1.1 billion, Merlin Chain has become one of the largest Bitcoin L2s to date. MERL, Merlin Chain's native token, has a Market Cap of $830 million, placing it as one of the leading tokens in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Even though MERL is currently still in a Downtrend phase, applications such as MerlinSwap and Avalon Finance show great potential for future growth.

Stacks (STX)


Stacks (STX) has introduced a major update with Nakamoto. This update brings significant improvements in speed and security, as well as enabling the creation of sBTC, a token that holds its value in BTC.

STX also introduced a variety of new DeFi applications, opening up new opportunities for their use. Even though STX has been in a downtrend since March 2024, the project remains attractive to investors looking for exposure to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Bitcoin Runes
The latest protocol that allows the creation of fungible tokens similar to BRC20, has become a new highlight in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Its largest token, DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON, shows great potential with a market capitalization of $207 million.

Although only past its initial adoption phase, Bitcoin Runes promises great opportunities in the future, especially with the positive trends that have been seen in Bitcoin transactions.
