Jason Brett says it's not time to despair when it comes to Bitcoin regulation in the US, though, he advises that builders in the Bitcoin space be a bit more cautious and strategic in their approach to working with regulators.

As a former US regulator who served during the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and an advisor to the Bitcoin Policy Institute, Brett is well-versed in the regulatory landscape of finance and capital markets, especially as it pertains to Bitcoin.

He's confident that with more education and some compromise, lawmakers will craft favorable regulation around Bitcoin, enabling it to thrive in the US.
