Shiba Inu's $TREAT and its FHE Token Status On Tuesday, Shiba Inu Treat ($TREAT) became available on multiple cryptocurrency exchange platforms.
Shiba Inu’s highly anticipated $TREAT token finally debuted on several cryptocurrency exchanges on Tuesday, kicking off a new era for the meme coin giant. But a closer look at the debut reveals a detail that might be easily overlooked: Shiba Inu’s $TREAT token is now among the first FHE tokens to hit the mainnet.
The significance of this development was highlighted by Rand Hindi, CEO of Zama and a key figure in the Shiba Inu partnership. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Hindi praised the token’s importance.
“Like many, I initially thought of Shiba as a memecoin. It wasn’t until I read their manifesto and got deeper into their ecosystem that I realized what it really was: a Network State,” the CEO said in the post.
Hindi further explained the role of FHE in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, highlighting its importance in various aspects.
“From decentralized identity to DeFi, tokens to governance, FHE enables Shiba to build an entire Network State OS onchain, while guaranteeing the privacy of its Shibizens.”
The CEO also highlighted that $TREAT is just the beginning, adding that Shytoshi Kusama, the visionary behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem and Kaal Dhairya, the tech wizard, including the Shib engineers ” are working on an whole suite of products that will take this to the next level.”
Hindi’s statement is particularly noteworthy as it pertains to $TREAT’s status as an FHE token on the mainnet. While the CEO did not elaborate on this aspect, it has major implications for the token and the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It also aligns with Kusama’s statements in earlier episodes of his limited-edition podcast, Meme Mania and the 36 Chambers of Tech.
