XRP Has Outperformed Bitcoin and Other Top Assets

Mar 17, 2025 at 03:05 am

Crypto analysts have taken note of this bullish divergence, with some even suggesting XRP to outperform Bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins in the current market cycle.

XRP Has Outperformed Bitcoin and Other Top Assets

XRP has outperformed Bitcoin and other top assets in the current cycle, and analysts believe that the token’s latest trend is a classic consolidation, which occurs after a strong move.

As reported by Credible Crypto, XRP is still in the green on its weekly chart against the US dollar, while Bitcoin has fallen below its weekly Kijun Sen, which is a critical component of the Ichimomochi indicator.

“Like I said before, XRP is going to continue to outperform against other majors in the coming months. People getting complacent with it because it has been consolidating for some time after a 8x run off the lows.

This consolidation is literally just a ‘loading’ bar for the next leg of the cycle.”

Crucially, this technical divergence provides a strong indication of XRP's resilience and potential for further gains. In contrast, Bitcoin's decline below the Kijun Sen suggests that the market may be shifting in favor of altcoins.

“[Bitcoin] also fell below the weekly Kijun-Sen, which is a critical component of the Ichimomochi indicator and a key level to watch for a potential reversal of the current trend.”

Moreover, according to the Reserve Richness indicator by the analytical platform TipRanks, XRP is a "bullish" digital asset with "reserve momentum." The indicator, which measures the level of buying or selling pressure on an asset, has tipped in favor of XRP.

"The indicator, which measures the level of buying or selling pressure on an asset, has tipped in favor of XRP, indicating that the token is currently facing more buying pressure than selling pressure."

On the other hand, Bitcoin and Ethereum are both neutral, while Solana and Chainlink are showing selling pressure.

"The indicator is also highlighting Bitcoin and Ethereum as neutral, while Solana and Chainlink are showing selling pressure."

However, it's worth noting that the Reserve Richness indicator is a short-term indicator and can change rapidly.

"It is also a short-term indicator and can change quickly. For example, the indicator had previously highlighted Bitcoin and Ethereum as bullish, but both tokens have since become neutral."

Overall, the technical indicators are showing that XRP has been outperforming Bitcoin and other top assets in the current cycle, and the token's strong performance is continuing.
