On April 16, U.S. President Donald Trump backed the cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), has issued 113479210 USD1

U.S. President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has issued 113,479,210 USD1, its USD-pegged stablecoin, on BNB Chain.
This issuance, which occurred on April 16, represents 88.68% of the total circulating supply, according to data from blockchain analytics firm Dune.
The issuance comes after the WLFI team announced the USD1 airdrop for WLFI token holders. According to the official proposal, the airdrop will help Trump’s family crypto project test the technical functionality of its airdrop on-chain.
“Testing the airdrop mechanism in a live setting is a necessary step to ensure smart contract functionality and readiness. This distribution also serves as a meaningful way to thank our earliest supporters and introduce them to USD1,” the proposal stated.
The contract for USD1 has already been deployed on the two leading blockchain networks, Ethereum and BNB. And, as per the Dune, the stablecoin has been included in the stablecoin 0 gas fee activity of BNB Chain.
Meanwhile, all the wallets equipped with WLFI token will be eligible to receive the airdrop. They will receive a certain amount of stablecoins, however, the exact amount to be decided based on the total eligible wallets and budget.
A few hours ago, the next-generation crypto market maker, DWF Labs, disclosed that it has invested $25 million in WLFI governance tokens through a strategic private transaction.
Since the election campaign, Donald Trump’s renewed interest in the crypto space triggered a bullish wave in the market. One after another, Trump is aggressively indulging in various crypto projects, including his latest crypto-based video game with echoes of Monopoly, a nod to his long-standing fascination with the classic real estate board game.
