Unlike the traditional Battle Royale mode, where players compete for the last spot, the new Deathmatch mode ensures a continuous, action-packed experience
OverTrip, the popular Web3 battle royale game, has received a major update, introducing a new Deathmatch mode and other enhancements.
In the new Deathmatch mode, players can engage in non-stop combat without the usual downtime experienced in the traditional Battle Royale mode. Upon being eliminated, players will respawn instantly and continue the action.
As players rack up kills in Deathmatch mode, they will be rewarded with $TRIP tokens, serving as an incentive to perform well and contribute to the team's success.
Other updates include the addition of private lobbies, allowing players to create matches with customisable wagering rules. The Battle Royale mode has also been expanded to support up to 50 players in a single match, increasing the intensity and scale of the competition.
Moreover, new cosmetic options such as skins have been introduced, giving players more ways to personalise their characters and stand out on the battlefield.
For those who have participated in earlier campaigns, the Trippy Terminal dashboard has now been launched, enabling users to track their earned $TRIP tokens and rewards over time.
