Blockchain is seen as one of the key technologies in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is changing how the world works. The Deputy Prime Minister recently approved this plan, which aims to make Vietnam a leader in blockchain technology by 2030.
Vietnam has officially unveiled its grandiose National Blockchain Strategy, setting its sights on becoming a regional leader in the field by 2030. This strategy outlines ambitious goals for the country's blockchain ecosystem.
The strategy was approved by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam earlier this week. It includes plans to establish Vietnam as a top player in researching, developing, and utilizing blockchain technology.
The government aims to培育 at least 20 prominent blockchain enterprises that will develop platforms, products, and services. Additionally, it intends to maintain at least three special zones or testing centers in major cities, where blockchain tech can be freely experimented with.
Another key goal is to propel Vietnam into the top 10 blockchain training and research centers in Asia.
To achieve these goals, the government is implementing a five-key-action 2024-2030 Action Program.
The government has assigned specific responsibilities to different agencies for the successful execution of this strategy. For instance, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Government Cipher Committee will all play crucial roles.
