However, he stood firm in his belief that financial giants have set the token’s value even before retail traders had a chance to do so.

Financial Giants Already Know the “True Price” of XRP

Aljarrah likened the token’s price determination to how pre-IPO (initial public offering) works in stocks. In this case, institutional whales agree on the asset’s price based on financial modeling and price potential. It’s not the retail market forces that drive their value.

In addition, the financial analyst explained that the same thing is happening in XRP, albeit on a larger scale. Big financial institutions like BlackRock, JPMorgan, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and major central banks have long before agreed on the token’s price based on its incoming more prominent role in cross-border payments and blockchain interoperability.

How Much Will XRP Price Go?

Aljarrah pointed out that XRP’s retail value will continue to be volatile, but it does not reflect its “true price.” He notably refrained from mentioning specific numbers in his recent commentary. Nevertheless, he sees “far higher” figures once the digital asset eventually integrates deeper into the global financial market.

The analyst’s financial modeling and market projections suggested that the token’s price could tap a three- to four-digit range. But then again, he reminded his readers that the estimates could pivot based on the actual utility and demand for XRP in the international arena.

XRP Performance

XRP price has traded between a $2.06 low to a $2.21 high in the last 24 hours leading to Sunday morning (UTC). So far, the figures were over 39% to 34% lower than last January’s $3.38 high.

Considering the Black Swan Capitalist founder’s projection, XRP could be gearing toward a breakout way beyond its all-time high of $3.84 seven years ago. In fact, a former City of London fund manager even plotted more bullish numbers at $15,000 earlier, owing to his perceived diverse use cases of the token, unlike other crypto assets that are only limited to their speculative nature.
