VeChain Launches Global Reward Campaign Offering 200 B3TR Tokens
Apr 24, 2025 at 11:15 pm
VeChain has launched a global reward campaign offering 200 B3TR tokens to the first 5,000 users activating its new Stella Pay Visa card.
The initiative aims to drive mass adoption of Web3 by providing real-world utility for crypto assets.
The Stellar Pay Visa card has been integrated with the VeBetter platform, which is powered by the B3TR token.
The first 5,000 users to activate their cards will receive 200 B3TR tokens in their Stella accounts.
VeChain has launched a global reward campaign offering 200 B3TR tokens to the first 5,000 users who activate its new Stella Pay Visa card. The initiative aims to drive mass adoption of Web3 by providing real-world utility for crypto assets.
According to the announcement, the card, integrated with VeBetter, allows holders to spend B3TR, VET, and VTHO at more than 130 million retailers worldwide. The platform is positioning itself beyond a blockchain ecosystem to a Web3 lifestyle platform.
Stella Pay integration is key to this strategy, designed to onboard users unfamiliar with crypto complexities. Users can make everyday purchases using their crypto holdings without technical knowledge. They pay a $30 activation fee using stablecoins to open a card account, which, once verified, can be used globally across online and in-store payment networks.
However, this benefit is limited to the first 5,000 users and will be automatically credited to their Stella accounts upon successful card activation. Reward distribution occurs monthly between the 10th and 20th, based on new card sign-ups. No additional steps are needed after activation.
According to VeChain, this is a one-time reward program. Once the 5,000-user cap is reached, the initiative ends.
Additionally, the B3TR token functions as a governance and incentive tool within the VeBetterDAO. This allows users to vote on proposals, support dApps, and earn by engaging in sustainability-focused activities.
Integrating B3TR with Stella Pay serves a larger vision: giving digital assets real-world utility. Through this payment bridge, users can directly convert on-chain rewards into usable spending power. This could help address one of the largest barriers to Web3 adoption: complexity and a lack of clear use cases.
Other features developed within the VeBetter platform include fee delegation and social login systems, designed to make blockchain feel as approachable and as traditional internet services.
Notably, VeChain plans to launch a bounty contest in the coming weeks. The contest will encourage cardholders to showcase creative or unique ways of using their Stella Pay Visa cards. It will serve as both a promotional and user engagement effort.
