Usual is a decentralized platform for issuing fiat-backed stablecoins, redistributing ownership and governance through its $USUAL token.
Usual (USUAL) is the governance token at the core of the Usual protocol, giving users ownership and control over its infrastructure and treasury. A key aspect of $USUAL is its intrinsic value, which is directly derived from the protocol’s revenue. This unique design aligns incentives for contributors and promotes the adoption of USD0.
Moreover, the distribution of $USUAL unlocks new possibilities in DeFi, fostering ecosystem growth and sustainable decentralization.
Here’s a closer look at Usual (USUAL) and its price analysis for 2025.
Usual (USUAL) Price Analysis
Will Usual’s most recent improvements, additions, and modifications help its price rise?
Usual (USUAL) Price Analysis – Bollinger Bands
The Bollinger bands are primarily three bands– the upper band, middle band and lower band. These bands expand and contract based on the market dynamics. The middle band is the average, while the upper band and lower band are the extreme ends that the price rises or falls to. Based on how the traders interact, the bands expand and contract. When the band expands, there could be a rise or fall of price by a huge margin. However, on the contrary when the band shrinks, there is not going to be much fluctuation in prices.
Just around a week ago USUAL started its uptrend and it has been fluctuating in the upper half of the Bollinger bands. Currently, USUAL is testing the upper Bollinger band and it is overbought. As such, there is a high chance that it could rebound off of the upper band and retrace back to the SMA. During this phase of retracement, USUAL could fall to as low as $0.85.
Usual (USUAL) Price Analysis – Relative Strength Index
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator used to measure whether the price of a cryptocurrency is over or undervalued. For this purpose, it has two extreme regions known as the overbought and oversold regions.
When the RSI reads a value (>70) then the crypto is overbought, which means that due to more buying the demand has increased as such the price has also increased. On the other hand, when it is oversold (<30), many are selling, as such, its price is undervalued.
The RSI for Usual reads a value of 72 and it has just entered the overbought zone. Normally, the RSI goes a little bit deeper into the overbought territory before retracing. As such, USUAL may keep on gaining value for sometime before retracing. A hint to notice before retracement would be the direction of the RSI. Furthermore, the retracement could be confirmed when the RSI crosses below the SMA.
Usual (USUAL) Price Analysis – Moving Average Convergence and Divergence (MACD)
The Moving Average Convergence and Divergence indicators use two exponential moving averages (EMA) to find how the cryptocurrency is performing. Usually, the longer EMA is the 26-Day EMA and the shorter is the 12-Day EMA. The MACD is found by reducing the 12-day EMA from the 26-day EMA. If the MACD is positive that means the crypto is performing but if it’s negative, then it is losing value.
The MACD reads a value of 0.096 and the line is heading away from the MACD-SMA. This distance between the MACD and the MACD-SMA is portrayed by the histogram which is producing bigger green bars. This shows that USUAL is gaining value and is performing well above the average.
Usual (USUAL) Price Prediction 2025
USUAL has been increasing exponentially since its inception. Although there was a period of consolidation on every support level as shown in the chart, the exponential curve was not disturbed by the consolidation period by any means. USUAL might have another period of consolidation as it has had at other times since the RSI and Bollinger band indicators have flagged it overbought. As such there might be a retracement close to $1. However, after retracing, the bulls will be waiting to charge as 2025 will be the year of the bulls. During the bull run in 2025, USUAL may reach new resistance levels and go above $1.8 and reach as high as $2.5.
Usual (USUAL) Price Prediction – Resistance and Support Levels
By looking at the chart above, there is one evident character about USUAL. As the token was on the rise it tested a resistance level above it once and was rejected. However, the very next time, the token crashed above the resistance level. As USUAL has currently tested the resistance level there is a high chance that it may break it the next time it tests it.
Conclusion
Usual is a
