Travala, a travel booking platform that specializes in crypto, recently revealed its integration with Solana, the fourth-largest blockchain by market capitalization.

Travel booking platform Travala has announced its integration with Solana, allowing users to book flights, hotels, and accommodations using SOL, USDT, and USDC.
Travala users will also be able to earn up to 10% of their booking value in SOL, BTC, or AVA (Travala’s native token) as part of the platform’s loyalty program.
According to Travala CEO Juan Otero, Solana's scalability and efficiency have made it one of the most widely used blockchains. This integration will open up new possibilities for the advancement of the travel industry.
Following a community vote, AVA will also be available on the Solana network, in addition to its existing Ethereum and BNB Chain variants.
While Travala accepts a wide range of cryptocurrencies for bookings, only a limited number are available for users to deposit and withdraw from their accounts. With this integration, users can now deposit and withdraw SOL, USDT, and USDC directly into their Travala accounts on the Solana network, enabling zero-fee transactions for their travel bookings.
Travala also plans to include Solana in its development roadmap, aiming to create products that enhance the practical utility of the Solana ecosystem.
