Top 5 Cryptocurrencies Currently Attracting the Most Attention
Dec 26, 2024 at 12:15 pm
According to the top gainers on the Token Mindshare, a metric quantifying the influence of specific tokens in the crypto market, from the AI-based Web3 search platform Kaito, the top 5 cryptocurrencies currently attracting the most attention are AIXBT, Kaito (KAITO), Ethereum (ETH), Berachain (BERA), and Chillguy (CHILLGUY).
The top cryptocurrencies currently attracting the most attention, according to the Token Mindshare metric from Kaito, are AIXBT, Kaito (KAITO), Ethereum (ETH), Berachain (BERA), and Chillguy (CHILLGUY).
AIXBT, ranked first, saw a surge in interest likely due to its intraday price increase. At 1:03 PM, AIXBT was trading at $0.3744, up 16.63% from the previous day, according to CoinMarketCap. The token's market capitalization stood at $320.31 million.
AIXBT serves as the primary AI agent of Virtual Protocol. Notably, as AIXBT surged, Virtual Protocol also showcased a strong performance, rising 8.67% from the previous day at the same time.
Kaito, which took the second spot, has been garnering attention following the launch of the YAP Point airdrop event, which began on the previous day.
YAP Points are part of an incentive program designed to encourage user participation within the Kaito platform. Through Kaito YAP, users can accumulate YAP Points by completing various tasks, such as sharing content, tweeting about cryptocurrencies, inviting friends, and more.
Among the top gainers, Ethereum, the leading altcoin, took the third place. Positive outlooks for Ethereum have been emerging from different quarters.
Earlier, research firm Kaiko analyzed in a report that "Ethereum could emerge as the biggest beneficiary cryptocurrency next year."
Specifically, Kaiko stated, "Ethereum will be the biggest beneficiary of the current U.S. regime change. If the classification of whether Ethereum is a security or a commodity becomes clear, its growth will be accelerated next year."
Meanwhile, Berachain took the fourth place, attracting investors' attention with an airdrop event scheduled for Q1 of next year, together with Monad, which was mentioned earlier.
Additionally, Berachain is currently hosting a Veramas event to celebrate Christmas. Participation involves designing Veramas cookies and sharing them on X (Twitter).
Finally, Chillguy (CHILLGUY) took the fifth place. The meme coin faced a sell-off following allegations of plagiarism.
A Twitter account claimed that "Chillguy directly synthesized a dog and a person from a Thai textbook."
As a result, Chillguy investors were largely disappointed, and the token was trading at $0.1752, down 8.21% from the previous day.
Among other tokens, Stakestone Ethereum (STONE), DIN, AI League Complex (ARC), Mocaverse (MOCA), and Griffain were also attracting interest.
