The price of Toncoin (TON) has fallen below the moving average lines but is stopped by the 50-day SMA. TON price long-term prediction: bearish
The price of Toncoin (CRYPTO: TON) fell during the trading session on Monday, as we continue to see a lot of selling pressure. Ultimately, the price stopped at the 50-day SMA, suggesting that there is still support in the area. However, if we were to break down below there, it opens up the possibility of a move down to the $3 level.
On the other hand, if we were to turn around and rally, the 21-day EMA sits just above, and that could open up the possibility of a move to the $6.40 level, followed by the $7.20 level. Ultimately, this is a market that I think will continue to be noisy, but it does look as if we are trying to build up some type of base here.
Keep in mind that the TON blockchain was recently launched, and it is designed to be a decentralized network for payments, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps). It was created by Telegram, which abandoned its own blockchain project in 2020 after facing legal challenges from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Several exchanges, including Binance, FTX, and OKX, have listed TON for trading. The cryptocurrency has seen strong price movements since its launch, and traders are keeping a close eye on its next steps.
