Tapswap Coin Miners Advised Not to Connect App to Solana Wallet

A man has advised Tapswap coin miners against connecting their app to the Solana wallet following the recent announcement by Tapswap.

According to him, Tapswap will not be launching on the Solana blockchain.

In a TikTok video sighted by Legit.ng, the man identified as @szymansk_i on the platform advised miners to wait for Tapswap to make another announcement concerning the blockchain it would launch on.

He said there is no further need to connect to Solana since Tapswap said it would not be available there.

Watch the video below:

Those who already connected Tapswap to Solana

Speaking to Legit.ng, Fidelis Ozuawal, a cryptocurrency expert at Waptutors Academy, said those who have already connected can still access their coins.

He said:

“If you have already connected Tapswap to the Solana wallet, you can still access your coins. However, you will need to use a different wallet to withdraw your coins.

“Solana is not supported by Tapswap, so you will not be able to withdraw your coins directly to a Solana wallet. You can use a multi-chain wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet to withdraw your coins.”

Reactions from Tapswap miners

Here are a few reactions from Tapswap miners to the development:

@Obasi Ifeanyichukwu Jacob said:

“I connected mine to Phantom. I hope I won’t have issues cashing out.”

@Rexmani12 said:

“I connected mine to Slope. What next?”

@Hannah_Brown said:

“I connected mine to Trust Wallet. I hope it’s fine.”

Why Tapswap was not opening

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a lady has said there is no need to fret if Tapswap refused to open noting that it was a general issue.

She was responding to many complaints by people who are currently mining Tapswap and hoping to cash out.

Her update about Tapswap was corroborated in the Tapswap Telegram community, where it was disclosed that maintenance was underway.
