Cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider Tangem has announced that its users can now store and manage Cardano native tokens in a move that comes after a period of high demand from the community.
In an announcement on Friday, Tangem stated that users can now secure and manage their ADA holdings alongside Cardano-based assets like Iagon (IAG), SingularityNET (AGIX), and World Mobile Token (WMT) in a single device.
The integration will also allow users to stake their Cardano native tokens, a feature that is set to be rolled out in the near future.
To use the new functionality, users will need to update their Tangem mobile apps and navigate to the “Manage Token” section, where they can find and manage their Cardano tokens.

Cardano community members reacted positively to the announcement, with many praising Tangem on social media and some showing their orders for Tangem’s wallets as a show of support for the firm and its work.
This expansion brings the total number of networks supported by Tangem to 61, including established players like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) alongside newer additions like Shibarium and Solana (SOL).
Tangem has established itself as a major player in the hardware wallet market, having manufactured over 1 million cards since its launch in 2021. The firm has also secured $21 million in a Series A funding round led by IOSG Ventures earlier this year.
Earlier this month, a cryptocurrency analyst suggested that Cardano’s native ADA token could soon see a breakout after it broke out of a falling wedge pattern after a long period of consolidation.
