Current Super Bowl 59 odds for Eagles vs. Chiefs

These teams are very evenly matched and it is reflected in the odds. The Chiefs seem to be downright unbeatable, with only one loss this season in games where their starters have played. They have won nine consecutive playoff games, one short of the NFL record.

Philadelphia has been equally unstoppable, though, with wins in 15 of their last 16 games. In fact, their one loss during that span was when Jalen Hurts missed most of the game in a Week 16 loss to Washington. The Eagles avenged that defeat by dominating the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.

The biggest difference between the Philadelphia team that K.C defeated in Super Bowl 57 and this one is Saquon Barkley. He simply cannot be contained and might be the difference-maker in this game. The Chiefs are one win away from making unprecedented NFL history by winning three consecutive Super Bowls. But the Eagles have the deepest offense K.C. will face in the postseason, and the best offensive line and defense in the league.

The pick here goes against what appears to be the inevitable Chiefs victory, as I am taking Philadelphia to cover the spread and on the moneyline. The Eagles’ offense is more potent than Kansas City’s, and their defense, which has allowed 18.3 points per game in the playoffs, is capable of getting key stops against Patrick Mahomes when it matters most.

We should see this game get past the Over, yet it will be a sweat. Kansas City has allowed 43 points in two playoff games. But the two teams produced 50-plus points combined with their opponents in three of five playoff games. The Eagles offense will force the Chiefs to keep up on the scoreboard enough to cash out on the Over. Take the Eagles to win Super Bowl 59 and for the final score to get past the Over.

Super Bowl MVP betting odds

*Odds via Caesars Sportsbook as of Jan. 30

We feature the top players in this category, and the list goes much deeper on the sportsbook’s site. Quarterbacks have won the Super Bowl MVP award 33 times, with Mahomes taking the award three times and in each of the last two Super Bowls. So it’s natural that he has the best odds to win the award again.

A running back hasn’t won the Super Bowl MVP since 1998, but Barkley is a strong candidate as he looks to finish off a spectacular postseason. So far in the playoffs, he has rushed for 442 yards and five TDs. The Chiefs allowed their opponents to rush for 145-plus yards in both of their AFC playoff games.

Hurts can benefit from the defensive attention Barkley receives and has a shot to win the award if the Eagles prevail. Kelce is the all-time leader in playoff receptions (100) and 100-yard games (nine). Wide receivers are the last two non-QB to win the Super Bowl MVP. I would opt for Brown over Worthy, who hasn’t reached 90 receiving yards in a game yet in his rookie season.

Super Bowl 59 anytime TD odds

*Odds via BetMGM Sportsbook as of Jan. 30

These are the top picks for this category, and you will find a fuller list on the BetMGM site. You can also wager on who will score the first TD and which player might find the end zone more than once.

You don’t get much of a return on the odds for a single Barkley TD, so take him at +300 to register two-plus TDs. He rushed for three TDs in the NFC Championship Game and two in the Divisional Round. Hurts finished with three rushing TDs in the NFC Championship Game, and you get a healthy payout of +650 if he rushes for two or more in the Super Bowl.

Kelce has caught four TDs in his last five playoff games. Hunt is aiming to rush for a TD in a fifth consecutive game. Worthy is a threat to get into the end zone as a receiver or as
