What Is Super Battle Moki?

Super Battle Moki is a casual async autobattler in which players use cute creatures called tamakins to battle against each other while wagering and earning rewards. Players will build their own team and attempt to achieve 10 wins before losing 4 lives in order to secure victory. Some of the game modes you will be able to wager and earn in include tournament and “risk run” modes.

What Does the Super Battle Moki Trailer Reveal?

The trailer for Super Battle Moki is a comedic cinematic mainly there to stir up excitement amongst the community for the upcoming game. It’s a neat little trailer that hints at various cute creatures battling it out using a variety of abilities and weapons. We don’t get to see any actual gameplay footage. If you want to see real proper gameplay, you should then keep an eye on the upcoming closed beta test.

The closed beta test is planned to start at some point in late March and end in early April, and will be available for Moki Genesis NFT holders only. If you don’t own the required NFT, you’ll likely be able to see gameplay footage surface online anyways, assuming there are no sharing restrictions for participants. If you’d like to buy the NFT, you can do so on the Ronin network through the Mavis Market, where the floor price is currently 115 $RON at the time of writing. There are a total of 8888 Moki Genesis NFTs, and they represent the core collection of the Moku ecosystem or the Mokuverse. Owning an NFT from this Genesis collection gets you first access to game playtests and events, bonuses to earn more points on the Moku HQ questing platform, and more.

Other New Reveals from the Latest Mokiside Chat

Next to sharing details and a new trailer for Super Battle Moki, the latest Mokiside Chat had various other new reveals for the web3 gaming community as well, including news on a Strategic Meme Reserve, the Tama Meme, Grand Arena, and Moki Pochi. An official thread on X was posted afterwards to summarize all the important bits in case you missed the chat, which featured co-founder @Hantao, co-founder and CEO @BruceMoku, and Moku HQ’s Head of Gaming, @JyroBlade.

According to the thread, the Strategic Meme Reserve is now live with the @tamadotmeme validator. The rewards from the validator are set to be used to support other projects by buying their tokens, while stakers can look forward to weekly weighed raffles throughout this month. The raffles give stakers a chance to win “the hottest tokens & NFTs” on the Ronin network.

It was also revealed that Tama Meme, a fair launch token launchpad on Ronin, is now live in early access. All game developers interested in launching their token and game through Tama Meme can DM for potential early access.

The Grand Arena is this ecosystem’s flagship game, and the team has now teased that this web3 title will feature multiple games for players to enjoy, and that every Moki will be an AI agent that can be trained to play different games, build loadouts and enter tournaments. They will use machine learning data and have their own unique playstyles, with the team planning deep future integration with $MOKU and $RON tokens.

Last but not least, the relaunch of the Moki Pochi is set to bring with it a PvP Attack mode for players to enjoy on web but also as a Discord activity. A playtest for “Moku Friends with Benefits Creators” is also planned to happen soon.

In September last year, Moku raised $5m+ in a funding round led by Sky Mavis and a16z Games. Earlier this year, they launched the first Discord native web3 wallet for Ronin: Moku Pouch.
