SSV Network DAO and Ether.fi Offer $50,000 Prize in New Learn & Earn Campaign
Aug 27, 2024 at 09:10 pm
This initiative is designed to educate the community about Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) and its role in decentralizing Ethereum's base layer
The SSV Network DAO and decentralized ether staking platform Ether.fi have announced a new Learn & Earn campaign on the Galxe platform. This initiative aims to educate the community about Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) and its role in decentralizing Ethereum’s base layer and enhancing restaking operations.
Participants in the campaign will be eligible for a raffle entry to win a share of a 150-person whitelist for $50,000 in ETHFI tokens. Additionally, all participants will earn points towards Ether.fi’s Season 3 program. The campaign will run for two weeks and engage the community in learning how DVT contributes to Ether.fi’s non-custodial staking protocol.
Party participants in the Learn & Earn campaign will earn points by studying how SSV is to decentralize Ether.fi’s operations. Ether.fi currently has more than 6,500 validators on the SSV beta Network, making it one of the largest active participants in SSV’s open-source staking protocol. As Ether.fi now has more than $4.5 billion in ETH staked, the ETHFI token has become one of the leading assets in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
As part of the campaign, participants will learn about the following aspects of SSV and Ether.fi:
* How SSV Network is used to decentralize Ether.fi’s operations
* The benefits of DVT for Ether.fi users and the wider Ethereum community
* How Ether.fi fits into the SSV Network ecosystem and contributes to restaking
Following the launch of SSV Network’s mainnet in December, its growth has been rapid and its Total Value Locked (TVL) has grown significantly. The network now safeguards over 1.3 million ETH staked, operated by over 900 node runners who assist over 40,000 validators. Recently, SSV marginally outranked Kraken to become the fifth-largest staking service provider in Ethereum, highlighting its importance in the ecosystem.
DVT is becoming an essential component in the multi-billion-dollar staking industry, particularly in securing the validator layer of Ethereum for SSV. This Learn & Earn initiative by SSV and Ether.fi aims to educate the audience and incentivize them to understand DVT and restake better.
This campaign also underscores how DVT is becoming increasingly critical within the space and is paramount in ensuring the network of Ethereum is secure and decentralized. Both SSV and Ether.fi anticipate that this campaign will bring the community closer to the technology playing a considerable role in shaping the future of decentralized finance.
