Following the recent revamp of its ranked battle system, Splinterlands has unveiled a transformative change to its ranked rewards structure, replacing random chests with a new currency called Glint, offering players unprecedented flexibility in choosing their rewards.

Introducing Glint: A Game-Changing Currency

Every battle victory now earns players Glint, which can be accumulated throughout the season and redeemed at a newly introduced Glint Store. Players can also acquire Glint by burning soulbound cards, providing a strategic option for managing their collections.

The amount of Glint earned is based on player rank, with bonuses for using older edition cards and gold foil cards. While the Daily Focus bonus has been eliminated, the game interface now provides a clear indication of expected Glint earnings for both battle victories and end-of-season rewards.

The Glint Store allows players to exchange their hard-earned currency for a variety of in-game items, including cards, merits (used for Gladiator pack purchases), energy (for engaging in battles), and potions.
