Sony Pictures Entertainment is a diversified multinational mass media and entertainment studio conglomerate that produces, acquires, and distributes filmed entertainment products, including animated series, television programs, and recorded videos, through multiple platforms. In April 2021, Netflix and Sony Pictures Entertainment signed a deal where Sony’s theatrical releases will become available on Netflix six months after their theatrical release, marking a significant pay-one-window agreement.

For this collaboration, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Netflix have partnered with Yoake to produce legally licensed digital collectibles from The Seven Deadly Sins. First airing in 2014, The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese anime television series adapted from the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. The TV series is one of the best-selling anime series on Netflix, with over 55 million copies sold worldwide.
