Solana-based non-fungible token (NFT) collections, particularly Froganas and Howdy Hats, have experienced a remarkable surge in sales and transactions, outperforming their peers on Monday. Froganas saw an impressive 111.88% increase in sales, reaching $1.16 million, while transactions doubled. Howdy Hats also witnessed a significant 19.12% increase in sales and a whopping 184.55% increase in transactions.
Is Solana Trailing in Overall NFT Sales?
Despite the strong showing from Solana's NFTs, the blockchain itself lagged behind Ethereum and Bitcoin in overall NFT sales. Ethereum's Yuga Labs' Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) saw a 24.48% increase in sales, reaching $1.02 million, with a modest 5.56% increase in transactions. BAYC remains the second-highest in all-time sales with an impressive $3.1 billion.
Are BAYC and Solana Projects Dominating the Market?
BAYC and the two Solana projects, Froganas and Howdy Hats, were the only three collections to surpass $1 million in sales on Monday. DMarket on Mythos Chain recorded a respectable $1 million in sales despite an 11% decline, making it the fourth-best performing collection of the day.

In contrast to the success of Solana and Ethereum NFTs, Bitcoin's NodeMonkes and JIGO BRC-20 NFTs faced setbacks in both sales and transactions.
Are Unconventional Bitcoin Assets Gaining Traction?
On the Bitcoin network, uncategorized BRC-20 and Ordinals assets recorded $1.9 million and $2.6 million in sales, respectively. These assets outperformed the entire Polygon network, which generated $1.01 million in sales, ranking fourth among blockchain sales on the day.
