StepN Go, a new social lifestyle app by the creators of the popular move-to-earn, STEPN, has partnered with rap music legend Snoop Dogg to launch a new Genesis

StepN Go, a social lifestyle app created by the team behind the popular move-to-earn app STEPN, has announced a partnership with rap music legend Snoop Dogg to launch a Genesis non-fungible token (NFT) sneaker collection.

The Genesis sneaker collection, which was announced in an Oct. 25 blog post, will see Snoop Dogg collaborate with StepN Go to launch a collection of NFTs. The rapper and crypto enthusiast launched his new NFT collectible series three months after launching another NFT collection in June 2024 that evolved in utility as he went on tour.

StepN Go, which was launched in August 2024, is an on-chain Web3 lifestyle app with social and game modules that aims to connect people globally. The lifestyle app is built around two core daily activities: staying connected with friends and family and maintaining an active lifestyle. StepN Go allows users to earn tokens and NFTs by walking, jogging, or running outdoors.

These tokens and NFTs earned from the app can either be used within the app or sold freely on secondary NFT marketplaces. StepN Go, a subsidiary of StepN, also enables Web3 adoption through Sneaker lending. The original STEPN app, which was launched in 2021, is the world’s leading ‘Move and Earn’ (M2E) application, pioneering the genre of gamified Web3 fitness.

On the other hand, Snoop Dogg is an American music rapper, singer, songwriter, music producer, media personality, actor, and crypto investor. From Long Beach City in California to global fame, Snoop Dogg has been a cultural force for decades. As a rapper, entrepreneur, and trendsetter, Snoop’s influence spans beyond music, inspiring generations across industries.

Snoop Dogg x StepN Go NFT Integration

As part of the integration, Snoop Dogg will bring his iconic style to StepN Go. The lifestyle mobile application will now leverage Snoop’s experience in music and culture to design co-branded Genesis NFT Sneakers. This new Genesis NFT Sneaker collection will have a fixed supply of 800 NFTs, merging the physical and digital worlds like never before.

The new Genesis NFT sneaker collection will be launched exclusively on Mooar, an equitable NFT marketplace and launchpad that empowers creators and enables an idea to become an on-chain NFT project in minutes. The StepN Go team has launched a raffle tournament for its community. Each winner will be able to claim their Sneaker on the MOOAR NFT marketplace from November 5, 2024, to November 8, 2024, at 10 am.
