Sky Mavis Signs Partnership with AI Platform NRN Agents, Bringing 'AI x Gaming x Memes' to Ronin

The deal will see NRN's AI agents being introduced on Ronin during Q1 2025.

Web3 gaming giant Sky Mavis has announced a new partnership with AI platform NRN Agents, a product of AI Arena developer ArenaX Labs. The collaboration will see NRN’s AI agents being introduced on Ronin during Q1 2025.

The integration will begin with proof-of-concept demonstrations in select games on Ronin, showcasing how agents can enhance gameplay. Designed to be optimized for dynamic, multiplayer environments, the agents are said to be suitable for any game genre. The ultimate goal is to deploy “millions of AI gaming agents” across Ronin’s expanding game ecosystem.

Part of Ronin’s broader AI vision and expansion plans, the announcement was accompanied by a statement from Sky Mavis’ director of bizdev Kathleen Osgood, who commented on the collaboration, saying:

“Ronin will be the home to AI X Gaming X Memes… Gaming ecosystem will be on a new level via AI integrations and experiments.”

To provide an opportunity for the Ronin community to participate in the training of NRN’s sophisticated AI agents, ArenaX’s flagship game AI Arena will launch an introductory campaign. The campaign will aim to onboard the community in preparation for the upcoming launch of NRN Agents on Ronin.

Additionally, in Q2, the NRN SDK will be made available more widely to Ronin studios, in conjunction with the network becoming permissionless.

Continuing its recent focus on memes, Ronin has also announced Tama Meme, the first fair launch token launchpad on the network, which has been developed by web3 native Moku. Launched on 21st January, in its first week Tama saw over 7,000 tokens launched and nearly $25 million traded among 69,000 token holders.
