EVM-compatible and gasless blockchain SKALE Network reported a notable first quarter, achieving 17 million unique active wallets and saving users $3.1 billion in gas fees by sidestepping BNB Chain and AVAX's combined $330 million fees in March alone. SKALE's gasless approach and instant finality have attracted over 70 projects and integrations in Q1, including ChainGPT, TCG, and NFT Arcade, enabling developers to focus on accessibility and user experience.
SKALE Network, a prominent Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible and gasless blockchain, has recorded a remarkable milestone by amassing 17 million unique active wallets (UAW) during the first quarter of 2023. This significant achievement is highlighted in a comprehensive report released by SKALE Labs, the driving force behind the project's development.
The report further emphasizes SKALE's significant cost savings for its users, estimating that it "saved its users $3.1 billion in gas fees in Q1" compared to prominent networks such as BNB Chain and AVAX, which collectively charged over $330 million in fees in March alone.
SKALE's rapid expansion is attributed to the adoption of its technology by over 70 projects and integrations in Q1. Notable partnerships include collaborations with ChainGPT, TCG, Dmail, NFT Arcade, and numerous others.
"SKALE's gasless approach fundamentally transforms the landscape for Ethereum developers," asserts Jack O'Holleran, CEO and co-founder of SKALE Labs. "By eliminating gas fees and providing instant finality, SKALE empowers developers to harness blockchain technology in a far more meaningful and impactful manner."
O'Holleran emphasizes, "SKALE's gas-free model allows developers to prioritize accessibility and user experience without compromising Web3's core principles. The tangible results are evident as millions of users initiate over a million transactions daily on our network, while hundreds of projects and businesses embrace SKALE as their foundation."
During the recent Game Developers Conference (GDC), SKALE announced a $2 million grant program, distributed in its native SKL token, to support projects aspiring to develop innovative games utilizing its infrastructure. O'Holleran expressed his conviction in the transformative potential of blockchain gaming.
"We firmly believe that games released through this initiative have the potential to redefine industry standards by leveraging AppChain technology to deliver unparalleled gameplay experiences, enhanced monetization models, and genuine ownership of in-game assets," O'Holleran stated. "As the industry evolves, we eagerly anticipate witnessing how developers harness SKALE's scalability and gasless transactions to push the boundaries of blockchain gaming."
This remarkable growth and impact position SKALE Network as a formidable player in the blockchain arena, poised to continue its expansion and drive innovation in the Ethereum ecosystem.
