Shytoshi Kusama Vows to Silence Shiba Inu (SHIB) Critics 'Soon' as Ecosystem Inks New Partnership with Chainlink
Dec 20, 2024 at 06:01 pm
Shytoshi Kusama, the Shiba Inu ecosystem lead, reveals plans to silence critics of the SHIB project in the near future.
The lead developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shytoshi Kusama, has hinted at plans to silence critics of the SHIB project in the near future.
This revelation came in response to an X post from Del Crxpto, a popular crypto expert, who suggested that Kusama's recent actions had effectively silenced the project's detractors.
"Shytoshi Kusama makes haters quiet," Del Crxpto stated in his post.
Shiba Inu Announces New Partnership with Chainlink
This statement follows the recent announcement by Shiba Inu of a groundbreaking partnership with Chainlink, which will expand accessibility for the ecosystem's tokens, including SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.
As part of this collaboration, Shiba Inu's Layer-2 network, Shibarium, will integrate with Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to enhance its interoperability with other blockchains.
Additionally, SHIB, BONE, and LEASH will adopt Chainlink's Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, boosting their multi-chain capabilities across 12 blockchains.
Some of the supported blockchains include Coinbase's Base, Optimism, Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Kroma.
Kusama Promises to Silence Critics Soon
This partnership has garnered significant attention within the broader crypto community, with Del Crxpto suggesting that Kusama's recent actions, such as the Chainlink partnership, might be his way of silencing the project's haters.
In a surprising turn of events, the Shiba Inu lead responded by stating that he has yet to silence the critics but promised to do so 'soon.' This response could indicate that the Shiba Inu ecosystem, under Kusama's leadership, is preparing to make another groundbreaking move.
"Not yet. Soon," Kusama wrote in his response.
While Kusama did not elaborate on the specific plans to silence critics, Kaal Dhairya, a prominent Shiba Inu developer, hinted at more exciting announcements to come.
Dhairya likened the Chainlink partnership to the first of the six infinity stones on the gauntlet of Marvel's comic book character Thanos, suggesting that it is part of a larger plan to achieve balance and "vaporize the fudders" of the project.
Interestingly, he teased that there are bigger projects in the pipeline, even larger than the Chainlink integration, which might be what Kusama intends to use to silence critics in the near future.
