Shytoshi Kusama Expresses Frustration with Growing Presence of Shadowcats Within Shiba Inu's Ecosystem as ShibaCon 2024 Draws Near

Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, is experiencing mounting frustration as the date for the ShibaCon 2024 event approaches due to the increasing presence of shadowcats within the ecosystem.

Highlighting this challenge in an X post today, the Shiba Inu leader drew attention to the large number of shadowcats.

According to the X post, his primary concern is the limited time he has to attend to this growing threat before the commencement of the highly anticipated ShibaCon 2024, Shiba Inu’s first global conference.

The conference was first introduced by Kusama shortly after his appearance at IVS Crypto 2024. He announced that the inaugural ShibaCon 2024 conference will coincide with DevCon 2024.

While DevCon 2024 will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from November 12 to 15, Shiba Inu’s ShibaCon will be held in the same city on November 10.

In a lengthy X post yesterday, Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist Lucie described ShibaCon as a pivotal moment for SHIB’s ecosystem. She highlighted that the event is key for blockchain enthusiasts, especially members of the Shiba Inu community.

According to her, ShibaCon presents a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with the Shiba Inu community, engage in discussion relating to the ecosystem, and explore advancements in decentralized finance (DeFi).

ShibaCon promises to provide valuable exposure for companies and projects, making it the ideal platform for visibility.

Earlier this week, Kusama drew attention to ShibaCon during his presentation at the Blockchain Futuristic Conference (BFC). He stated that Shiba Inu will be taking over the streets of Thailand to showcase memecoin’s true capabilities.
