Jan 13, 2025 at 06:12 pm
The Shiba Inu team has unveiled a set of new programs designed to drive growth and adoption and foster innovation in the ecosystem.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has announced a series of new programs aimed at driving growth, fostering innovation, and promoting adoption within the SHIB ecosystem.
In a blog post on Monday, Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama announced the completion of the 36 Chambers of Tech, a stack that encompasses over 30 technological components.
The stack includes AI, Shibarium, Web3 games, the Metaverse, and other innovations designed to make “powered by Shib” as ubiquitous as brands like Google, according to Kusama.
The 36 Chambers of Tech will seamlessly integrate individuals and projects into Web3, transforming the Shiba Inu ecosystem into a household name, the post stated.
Shiba Inu Lead Announces WHY Combinator
Kusama also announced the launch of the WHY Combinator, a decentralized program that ensures meaningful innovations within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The pseudonymous lead explained that the program answers the “Why does this product or startup need to exist in the world?” question.
The decentralized protocol will vet the purpose behind an innovation, prioritizing projects that solve real-world problems. As a result, only programs with long-term viability and impact will be offered within the SHIB ecosystem.
The WHY Combinator and 36 Chambers of Tech align with Shiba Inu's broader push for adoption and decentralization, the post noted.
With the upcoming launch of TREAT (Transactional Reward for Engagement and Access Token), the ecosystem will move closer to being fully decentralized, according to Kusama.
notably, each project on the 36 Chambers will have TREAT as their utility token, the lead stated. The team also proposed a weekly TreatDrop to reward users and projects engaging with the WHY Combinator.
New Utility for BONE Token The blog post further revealed the expansion of the BONE token utility.
Currently the gas token for the Shibarium network, the Shiba Inu team is planning to create a new utility for the token.
Kusama mentioned the ongoing project of building an L3 chain for Shibarium, which will introduce roll-up functionalities like those seen in Arbitrum and Optimism.
This solution will enable other chains to settle transactions on Shibarium while providing a data availability layer, the post explained.
The pseudonymous lead stated that this innovation will drive the adoption of Shibarium and the Shiba Inu ecosystem, ultimately attracting exchanges to native tokens in the marketplace.
