Shiba Inu's Enigmatic Lead Developer, Shytoshi Kusama, Fires Back at Critics Doubting SHIB's Potential

Shiba Inu team main developer, who goes by the moniker Shytoshi Kusama, felt compelled to address a tweet that questioned his previous X post claiming that SHIB's value rise has outpaced Bitcoin's.

Shiba Inu's lead developer, known as Shytoshi Kusama, has hit back at critics who doubt the potential of the SHIB token, highlighting its remarkable 33 million percent growth since 2020, which he claims even outperforms Bitcoin.

Shiba Inu's core team lead developer, who goes by the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama, couldn’t help but chime in on a tweet that took a jab at his previous X post about SHIB's price increase outpacing even Bitcoin's.

On this occasion, Kusama addressed the founder of crypto investment firm 1confirmation, who is also an avid SHIB fan, and countered his statement that the Shiba Inu will likely continue to be “a chump change meme.”

Tomaino Lists Influential Crypto Projects, Omitting SHIB

In a tweet, 1confirmation founder Nick Tomaino listed seven crypto projects from the early days of crypto that he believes have been the most influential so far.

The list starts with Bitcoin and ends with the stablecoin-based platform, Bridge. In between, he placed OpenSea, Polymarket, Maker DAO, Coinbase, and Ethereum. “All of them have faced endless FUD and used it as fuel,” Tomaino added.

Earlier, he commented on a post by @Vivek4real_ X, who called Bitcoin "the best performing asset of the last decade." He shared an infographic that showed Bitcoin beat tech giants like Amazon, Tesla, and Apple, as well as the S&P 500 index and gold.

He tweeted that SHIB had already outperformed Bitcoin by 66X, and Shytoshi Kusama chimed in to confirm that. "No disrespect, BTC is the GOAT, but I am just saiyan,” he added.

Following this, Kusama tweeted that Shiba Inu had outpaced its rival top coins, including DOGE (up 202,583%), SOL (up 35,715.8%), and BNB (up 1,521,482.8%), showing a 33,774,726.7% growth since its all-time low in September 2020.

Community Skepticism Over SHIB's $0.01 Target

On the same thread, a SHIB supporter confronted Kusama, stating that the community will continue to view SHIB as "a chump change meme" until its price reaches $0.01.
