Blockchain analytics platform Bubblemaps has performed a detailed analysis of the activity of an early SHIB whale who holds over 10% of the total supply of the meme coin.

A blockchain analytics platform has identified an early SHIB whale who holds over 10% of the total supply of the meme coin, sparking concerns among investors. According to Bubblemaps, this Shiba Inu whale acquired 103 trillion SHIB tokens for just 38 ETH ($10,000 at the time).

The unidentified whale currently holds this massive amount across 150 wallet addresses. Notably, the value of the whale’s holding has skyrocketed by over 250,000x, indicating that their Shiba Inu coin portfolio is now worth over $2.5 billion.

While the whale hasn’t sold any of his holdings, the possibility of dumping 10% of the total SHIB in circulation has sparked concerns among investors. If this happens, the Shiba Inu price, which is now trading around $0.0000219 according to CoinMarketCap, could suffer a massive drop.
