21Shares has expanded its reach into Europe with the listing of three crypto exchange-traded products on Nasdaq Stockholm.

21Shares Expands Reach With New Crypto ETPs

The asset manager, which has more than $7.5 billion in assets under management, is expanding its European reach with the listing of three crypto exchange-traded products on Nasdaq Stockholm.

These products include a low-cost Bitcoin ETP, a Solana staking ETP, and an XRP ETF, which are designed for both retail and institutional traders. The firm’s Head of Financial Product Development lauded the update, highlighting this expansion as a key milestone for the firm.

Moreover, she also noted that 2024 marks a crucial year for crypto adoption in Europe, driven by regulatory clarity. The products will fall under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. Mandy Chiu stated:

“As institutional adoption of cryptoasset ETPs accelerates and regulatory clarity strengthens across Europe, we remain committed to expanding our product offerings to meet growing investor demand.”

A Closer Look: 21Shares Crypto ETPs

Bitcoin Core ETP (CBTC): This ETP provides one of the lowest management fees in Europe for direct BTC exposure, with an annual fee of only 0.21%. It is a fully-backed Bitcoin ETP offering efficient and cost-effective access to the world’s leading cryptocurrency.

Solana Staking ETP (ASOL): Offering a unique take on staking, this ETP allows investors to earn staking rewards while maintaining exposure to Solana. Solana’s blockchain provides innovations in gaming, finance, and identity security, making it a valuable asset in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. This ETP provides investors with a way to tap into the benefits of staking without the technical complexities.

XRP ETP (AXRP): This ETP is fully backed by XRP, providing transparent and regulated exposure to Ripple’s (XRP) native assets. As XRP plays a vital role in cross-border payments, this ETP presents an accessible option for European investors to gain exposure to the token.
