Former popular basketball player, member of the NBA Scottie Pippen has published a photo, in which he stands together with the vocal Bitcoin evangelist Michael Saylor.
Former NBA star Scottie Pippen, who is also known for being a crypto enthusiast, has posted a photo of himself with MicroStrategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) executive chairman Michael Saylor on Twitter.
The photo, which was likely taken at the Thailand Blockchain Week 2024 event in Bangkok, shows Pippen and Saylor standing together and smiling at the camera. The NBA star captioned the photo "The return of Michael and Scottie. Two BULLS bullish on #Bitcoin."
Several people commented on the photo, including Natalie Brunell, a popular Bitcoin podcaster, who wrote, "It was so nice to meet you Scottie."
Earlier this year, Pippen sparked interest in the crypto community when he posted several tweets claiming that the mysterious Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto spoke to him in his sleep, promising a new Bitcoin all-time high of $84,650 to arrive on November 5. While Bitcoin did show bullish signs on that day, the rally was slightly less extreme, with the primary cryptocurrency rising to $70,200.
On November 13, Bitcoin soared to a new all-time high of $93,434. At the time of this writing, BTC is trading at $91,518 after a 2.58% gain in the last 24 hours. Notably, Pippen has not posted any more Bitcoin price predictions or mentioned Satoshi visiting him in his dreams again.
Meanwhile, Saylor recently stated in an interview with CNBC that he would be surprised if Bitcoin did not hit $100,000 in November or December. The MicroStrategy executive is also planning a "Bitcoin $100,000" party, which he said would probably be held on New Year's Eve at his house.
