Robert Kiyosaki Reduces Bitcoin (BTC) 2025 Target By 30%, Now Projects a Range of $175,000-$350,000

Jan 03, 2025 at 06:14 pm

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the financial literacy book Rich Dad Poor Dad, has revised his bold 2025 Bitcoin (BTC) prediction. In a tweet on Thursday, Kiyosaki projected that the premier cryptocurrency will reach a price range of $175,000 to $350,000 this year.

Robert Kiyosaki Reduces Bitcoin (BTC) 2025 Target By 30%, Now Projects a Range of $175,000-$350,000

Robert Kiyosaki, the author behind the best-selling personal finance book "Rich Dad Poor Dad," has unveiled his bold predictions for Bitcoin (BTC) in a recent tweet.

According to Kiyosaki, the flagship cryptocurrency is expected to reach a price range of $175,000 to $350,000 this year. Based on Bitcoin's current price of $96,286, Kiyosaki's projections indicate that the premier crypto asset must surge by 81.75% to 263.5% to hit the predicted targets within the next 12 months.

This optimistic outlook, however, marks a 30% reduction from his previous target set for 2025. In 2023, the "Rich Dad Poor Dad" author predicted that Bitcoin would reach $500,000 by 2025. He made this bold prediction despite Bitcoin trading at $21,898 at the time. In his New Year message, he adjusted the target to a price range of $175,000 to $350,000.

It is important to note that Kiyosaki's predictions are based on his personal observations and may differ from the actual market performance. The cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility, and several factors can influence Bitcoin's price trajectory.

Kiyosaki has consistently expressed his bullish stance on Bitcoin, viewing it as a hedge against traditional financial systems, economic instabilities, and geopolitical tensions. In 2023, when he projected Bitcoin's surge to $500,000, he highlighted that people were gradually losing trust in fiat currencies, particularly the dollar. He advised saving in Bitcoin, suggesting that this action could propel the asset to record-breaking levels.

Throughout his previous predictions, Kiyosaki has set several bold targets for the world's largest cryptocurrency. These include a potential increase to $100,000 by June 2024 and a further surge to $350,000 by August 2024. Notably, Bitcoin eventually hit the $100,000 target six months after Kiyosaki's projected timeline. The premier asset is yet to reach the $350,000 target. It is significantly lower than this level, trailing the target by 263.5% from its current price.

Nevertheless, the prediction reflects Kiyosaki's optimism regarding Bitcoin's ability to outshine other traditional financial instruments as a store of value. It comes at a time when Bitcoin was crowned the best-performing asset globally in 2024, outperforming major assets such as gold, the S&P 500, and the NASDAQ 100.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $96,286, showing a 0.25% increase over the past 24 hours and a 0.48% gain in the last seven days. The premier cryptocurrency is currently down by 11.2% from its all-time high (ATH) of $108,268, which was recorded on December 17, 2024.
