Ripple's XRP Continues to Gain New Highs as the Currency Cements Itself as the Best-Performing Asset of the Week

Ripple’s XRP continues to reach new highs as the currency consolidates its position as the best-performing asset of the week among the top 10 cryptocurrencies.

Starting November 20th, XRP was trading around the $1.08 mark and throughout the reached a high of $1.14. During this timeframe, the currency gained 2.29% in value, adding up to an already profitable week.

On November 16th the crypto reached above the $1,20 — a price zone not seen by Ripple holders since April of 2021. Currently, holders are hoping XRP regains that margin, enjoying one of the strongest bullish moments the crypto market has seen in years.

XRP Outperforms Other Cryptos as Most Profitable Currency in The Week

Ripple recently overtook Dogecoin as the 6th most valuable cryptocurrency project in the world. Over the past seven days, XRP gained over 60% in value, making it the fastest-rising digital asset among cryptocurrencies in the top 10 by market capitalization.

Cardano (ADA) is the only project to come close to Ripple’s weekly performance with a 42% increase in that same timeframe. Meanwhile, projects like Ethereum (ETH) lost about 3% during that timeframe, while Shiba Inu’s poor performance as of late made the memecoin leave the top-10 — being replaced by Tron (TRX).

Whales Could Be Betting on XRP to Continue Its Momentum

A recent report by blockchain tracker “Whale Alert” revealed that crypto whales could be betting on XRP to continue its momentum.

According to the tracking platform, two large-time investors moved 210,930,712 XRP — or over $234 million — in two separate transactions. This transfer was made from the cryptocurrency exchange Binance to unknown wallets.

Albeit no one knows what these traders will do with these funds, when investors move their assets away from exchanges — it usually means that they plan on continuing to hold on to these funds for at least a while longer.

In truth — Ripple has been one of the cryptocurrency projects that benefitted the most from early November’s U.S. Presidential Election. With the early signs of a new Government that will look to simplify regulations and overall be more “crypt-friendly”, XRP could certainly be one of the top cryptocurrencies to look out for in 2025.
