But here’s the twist, this so-called “new” ad isn’t new at all. It was first released in December 2024 and has recently made a comeback online, leaving the XRP community wondering if Ripple is hinting at something bigger for its token and its ecosystem.
The commercial, which clocks in at 90 seconds, delivers a powerful, reflective message. A calm, philosophical voiceover describes how nature thrives on precision and intentional design rather than randomness or luck. “Progress is not a product of happy accidents,” the narrator says. It’s the undisciplined crowd that makes gods of men, not the other way around. Progress is not a product of luck, but of years of innovation, intuition, and adaptation.”
The message is clear and relevant to Ripple’s journey. After years of regulatory challenges, market turbulence, and persistent efforts in building a future where digital assets like XRP play a vital role in global finance, this ad feels like a quiet reminder of the bigger picture. Recently, the commercial’s resurfacing ignited plenty of chatter online. Edo Farina, CEO of Alpha Lions Academy and a well-known crypto influencer, shared the ad on social media on March 16, 2025. “HUGE new Ripple $XRP commercial. GET HYPED. They are coming for the whole market in 2025,” Farina captioned the post.
The ad quickly went viral, sparking excitement among XRP holders who assumed Ripple had just launched a fresh marketing campaign. However, some eagle-eyed members of the XRP community were quick to step in and clarify that the commercial wasn’t new. One user on X, going by the handle C4, chipped in with, “It’s a commercial from December. Check their page it’s literally pinned.”
Another user, XRP2024, added, “This commercial has been out since December 10th. It was filmed in November. It’s a brilliant commercial, but it’s not new.”
The comment section buzzed with reactions as viewers shared their thoughts on the commercial’s message and visuals. Some viewers noted the calmness and pleasant voice of the narrator, while others appreciated the ad’s overall tone and message of perseverance.
Interestingly, the ad was originally made to promote Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, which quietly launched in December 2024. The stablecoin is pegged to the U.S. dollar and is fully backed by cash, government bonds, and other equivalents. It’s designed to offer stability, instant global payments, and seamless access to real-world assets—exactly the kind of utility Ripple has been striving to bring to the crypto space.
However, Ripple’s move into stablecoins puts it in direct competition with giants like Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), both of which are valued at over $10 billion, according to CoinGecko.
