REX Financial Launches Bitcoin-Backed Corporate Treasury Convertible Bond ETF (BMAX)

REX Shares has launched the REX Bitcoin Corporate Treasury Convertible Bond ETF (BMAX), the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) to provide investors with the opportunity to invest in convertible bonds issued by companies that hold Bitcoin within their corporate treasury.

As the use of convertible bonds by companies to fund their Bitcoin strategy has increased rapidly in recent years, and the Bitcoin strategy that Michael Saylor introduced at Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) becomes more widely adopted by leading companies, the BMAX ETF provides investors with a unique and valuable investment opportunity.

While traditional investors had limited avenues to invest in these bonds, and investors seeking Bitcoin exposure could only do so through limited products, BMAX offers investors the chance to access a diverse range of assets covered by a single ETF, simplifying the investment process.

The fund’s primary focus is on allocating investments to bonds issued by Strategy, a leading Bitcoin-backed company, and other companies. Alternatively, investors seeking Bitcoin exposure can invest in BMAX, presenting them with strategically focused opportunities to invest in Bitcoin without engaging in the direct ownership of digital currency.

In contrast to traditional Bitcoin ETFs, the BMAX fund does not invest in Bitcoin but rather enables investors to access companies that deploy Bitcoin as part of their broader financial strategy.

“We are excited to launch BMAX, the first ETF to provide investors with access to the convertible bonds issued by companies like Strategy, which are used to fund their bitcoin treasury,” said Greg King, CEO of REX Financial. “These bonds offer lenders two layers of protection while also allowing them to share in any potential growth in the equity value.”

“BMAX opens up a new avenue for investors seeking an alternative to investing in bitcoin directly, which can be a volatile asset. BMAX provides investors with a regulated and convenient vehicle to participate in the bitcoin market, and it offers the potential for capital appreciation and income from the bond component.”

BMAX is a capital-light and highly efficient product to manufacture, and it is expected to be a low-cost ETF for investors. It is an innovative addition to the ETF market, and it is sure to be of interest to a wide range of investors, including those who are looking for a new way to invest in bitcoin, those who are interested in investing in high-growth companies, and those who are seeking a unique and valuable investment opportunity.

Investors can now access the REX Bitcoin Corporate Treasury Convertible Bond ETF (BMAX) to invest in the convertible bonds issued by companies that fund their Bitcoin treasury.
