Ray LaMontagne Announces 'Trouble' 20th Anniversary Tour

Acclaimed New England singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne has announced a 20th anniversary tour to celebrate his debut album, Trouble. The 30-date tour will see him play two shows in Boston, MA this fall.

The tour kicks off in Boise, Idaho on Aug. 23 and ends with a three-night stand at The Beacon Theatre in New York from October 2-4. LaMontagne will play doubles in Nashville, Toronto, Boston and Maine. The tour concludes with a three-night stand at New York’s Beacon Theatre Oct. 2-4. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 21. Fans can shop for tickets now using reliable third-party ticket sellers like StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek.

LaMontagne will be playing Trouble in its entirety for the first time since the album’s release, according to the singer’s Instagram post.

The Nashua, New Hampshire native won four awards for his debut album, including three Boston Music Awards (Best Male Singer/Songwriter, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year) and an XM Nation Music Award for Acoustic Rock Artist of the Year.

The singer received two Grammy nominations and won the award for Best Contemporary Folk Album for “God Willin’ and the Creek Don’t Rise” in 2011.

His most recent album, ″Long Way Home," dropped in 2024. The lead single, “Step Into Your Power,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay chart, Mediabase Triple A, and Americana Singles charts. This marked LaMontagne’s third No. 1 song of his career.
