A RARE 50p coin is going under the hammer for a whopping 300,000 times its face value - and punters are raking through their pockets to see if they have one.
The mind-blowing coin is going for a staggering £150,000 on online marketplace Ebay, where it was listed with its stunning detail and reference to an iconic writer highlighted.
It was sold by one vendor, offering viewers the chance to own it for an eye-watering price.
The incredible coin dates back to 2017, and features Queen Elizabeth II's face on its back side.
Its proud seller said on the coin's listing that it was a "great addition to any collection".
The coin's design references legendary English writer Beatrix Potter.
Her character Benjamin Bunny, from her book The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, features on the rare coin's face.
So fast-thinking punters need to scour their wallets to see if they own one.
Potter, who was also a illustrator and scientist, lived from 1866 to 1943.
She wrote the iconic Benjamin Bunny in 1904.
The seller of the unique coin said: "Released in 2017, this coin features a beautiful design and is made from 0.925 fineness silver.
"The coin is uncertified and was manufactured in the United Kingdom.
"The coin is a perfect representation of the beloved character from Beatrix Potter's tales.
"It is a must-have for any fan of British coins or Beatrix Potter."
The seller also encouraged those viewing to buy the coin, saying: "Add this unique and beautiful coin to your collection today!"
The limited-edition coin was listed for £150,086.72 or best offer, with postage being priced at £8.35 for the incredibly special dime.
Its seller is based in London.
The rare sale comes after the UK's rarest coin sold for nearly 300 times its face value after an intense bidding war.
Described by the Royal Mint itself as "the most sought-after" coin, the Kew Gardens 50p was minted in 2009.
