Madison, Wisconsin - An exceptional coin collection from a central Wisconsin estate fetched an astounding $895,371 at auction on Wednesday, significantly surpassing the pre-sale estimate by an impressive 25%, according to an official press release.

The highlight of the auction was the exceedingly rare 1879 $4 Gold Stella, which ignited a fierce bidding war among six collectors before selling for a staggering $147,600.
