What's the Scoop on QuickNode's Icy Acquisition?
Blockchain development platform QuickNode has made its first acquisition by snatching up icy.tools, an NFT analytics platform. The price tag? That remains under wraps.
Icy.tools, founded in 2021, lets users track and analyze trending NFTs, providing real-time data on prices, volumes, historical charts, and transaction histories.
Integration on the Horizon?
While icy.tools will stay an independent product, its API will be woven into QuickNode's developer platform. This move is set to bolster QuickNode's position in the NFT development space, creating a one-stop shop for Web3 development and analytics.
QuickNode's Funding Boost
Last October, QuickNode raised $35 million in Series A funding, backed by 776, the investment firm owned by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Ohanian's Enthusiasm
"QuickNode already had us excited, but with icy.tools on board, it's a game-changer for NFT development," Ohanian enthused in a press release. "It's like the perfect marriage of development and analytics in the Web3 world."
