In a blog post on November 21, Igloo Inc., through its Pudgy Penguins X account, announced that it will showcase its popular pudgy penguin non-fungible token arts at the annual art event “Art Basel 2024” in Miami, Florida, United States of America. The highly anticipated annual art event is set to take place next month from December 06, 2024, to December 08, 2024.

Launched in July 2021, Pudgy Penguins is a non-fungible token collection that features a fixed supply of 8,888 cartoon artworks featuring cute penguin birds. Each Pudgy Penguin NFT has unique traits and rarity. The Pudgy Penguins NFT artworks were created from 150 hand-drawn traits. These NFT arts have distinctive features spread across each NFT’s clothing (shirt, glasses, and hats), body (face, skin, and head), and background. This design is meant to give each Penguin art a unique look.

In addition to the Pudgy Penguins, Igloo Inc has also created another art collection called Lil Pudgy. Launched in December 2021, Lil Pudgy is a non-fungible token collection that features a limited supply of 22,222 cartoon artworks minted on the Ethereum blockchain network. Similar to Pudgy Penguins, the Lil Pudgy NFT collection’s art symbolizes social virtues: empathy, happiness, love and compassion.
