The Most Interesting and Popular Early Super Bowl LIX Props Offered by BetMGM

Jan 31, 2025 at 03:33 am

For two glorious weeks every year, we think about the color of an NFL team's Gatorade. The Gatorade bath color and coin toss are among the two most popular Super Bowl prop bets every year at BetMGM.

The Most Interesting and Popular Early Super Bowl LIX Props Offered by BetMGM

The Super Bowl is here, and that means it's time to think about the most important question of the year: What color Gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach?

The answer to that burning question is available at BetMGM, where the Gatorade bath color is among the most popular prop bets every year. It's a fun bet that can add some excitement to the game, and it's one that you can follow closely throughout the fourth quarter.

Here are the odds for the Gatorade bath color at BetMGM for Super Bowl LIX:

Purple +250

Yellow/green/lime +300

Red/pink +350

Orange +400

Blue +650

Clear/water +900

No Gatorade bath +2500

Purple has taken over as the favorite after some early action on it, moving from +350 to +250. That happened despite the Chiefs winning the AFC championship at home last year and getting purple Gatorade dumped on coach Andy Reid.

The Chiefs are the home team again this year, and that might be why bettors are putting their money on purple again. But the Eagles won the NFC championship on the road and got yellow-green Gatorade dumped on coach Nick Sirianni.

After yellow/green/lime was dumped on Sirianni, that color has gotten the most bets in the early action on the prop. At BetMGM, 26% of the bets made on the Gatorade color were on yellow/green/lime. Adjust accordingly.

The favorite color has changed hands a few times already, and it will likely continue to shift throughout the week. But for now, purple is the betting favorite to be dumped on the winning coach in Super Bowl LIX.
