Pokémon Go Max Out event research ticket: is it worth it?

Sep 02, 2024 at 11:44 pm

POKÉMON GO is one of the biggest mobile games on the planet, with tens of millions of players logging into the game every day to catch pocket monsters.

Pokémon Go Max Out event research ticket: is it worth it?

Pokémon Go players can now purchase a paid research ticket to celebrate the game's Max Out season, which will grant them a daily bonus Field Research task.

Those who complete the task will be rewarded with 20 additional PokéCoins, and the ticket will grant these tasks for the entire month, starting from September 3, 2024, and ending on October 2, 2024.

The ticket, called the Daily PokéCoin Bounty Part 1 Ticket, is available for purchase in the Pokémon Go store in-game and on the web for £4.99.

It also grants 200 PokéCoins immediately upon purchase, and those who complete the daily Field Research tasks will earn a total of 600 coins.

Together with the initial 200 coins, ticket holders can earn up to 800 coins throughout the event.

For comparison, 550 coins in the Pokémon Go store cost £4.99, so players are essentially getting an extra 250 coins for free.

Ticket holders will also receive triple experience from their first PokéStop spins and first catches each day, and they'll earn 15,000 experience and Stardust through rewards across the event.

The Max Out season introduces Dynamax Pokémon, powerful new creatures that can grow to gargantuan sizes, and players will encounter them throughout the event.

The season also features a new Max Raid Battle format and a debut appearance by Deoxys in Pokémon Go.

In other news, the latest Pokémon main series announcement was for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which was revealed back in February, but we've yet to see any gameplay or further details.

If you want to learn more about Pokémon, check out the latest event, which features a brand-new Tera raid and a giveaway for a Hisuian Growlithe code.
