According to CoinMarketCap, the global crypto market surged by 4.2% in terms of m-cap to $3 trillion over the last 245 hours. However, volumes declined by 17%. Nonetheless, the largest crypto, Bitcoin has gained its dominance furthermore.

In the past few days, a new crypto Pi Coin has witnessed sharp sensational performance, keeping investors hooked. Currently, there is potential for Pi Coin's listing on Binance, and that is expected to drive its price higher. 2. Ethereum: With an m-cap of $276 billion, Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency. However, the performance of Ether has been volatile. In the last 24 hours, the crypto traded between $2,290 to $2,300 levels, up by 4%. But in 7-day performance, the crypto is down by 3%.

3. XRP: This crypto is currently above $2.5 levels, and has surged by 3% in the last 24 hours. In seven days, the coin outperformed with gains of nearly 13%.

4. Tether (USDT): The crypto traded at $0.9998, broadly flat in 1-day and 7-day performance.

5. BNB: Binance's cryptocurrency, BNB traded above $605 levels, up by 2.40% in 1-day. But the crypto is down by 2% in a seven-day streak.

6. Solana: Trading around $149 levels, Solana is up by 4% on Thursday, and has gained by nearly 6% in seven days overall.

7. USDC: Trading around $1 levels, its performance has been broadly flat on both 1-day and 7-days periods.

8. Cardano: This has emerged as the best performing cryptocurrency in a 7-day period. On Thursday, Cardano was around $0.9398, surging by 1% over the last 24 hours. But in seven days, Cardano has outperformed Pi Coin, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, BNB, and other leading counterparts with an upside of over 40%.

9. DogeCoin: Elon Musk-backed DogeCoin traded around $0.2099, up by 5% in the last 24 hours. However, the crypto recovered its losses that emerged in the past few days, hence, its 7-day performance is marginally up.

10. TRON: Trading at $0.2454, Tron crypto is up by 1.5% in 24 hours, and further higher by 7.2% in seven days.
