Paribu is launching during Paris Blockchain Week 2025 with international ambitions

During Paris Blockchain Week 2025, BitcoinMagazine.nl spoke with CEM Saglam from Paribu, a leading crypto and custody platform from Turkey.

Tijdens Paris Blockchain Week 2025 sprak Bitcoinmagazine.nl met Cem Saglam van Paribu, een toonaangevend crypto- en custodyplatform uit Turkije. Terwijl de beursvloer volstroomde met Web3-projecten, banken en blockchainbedrijven uit heel Europa, stond Paribu klaar om zijn internationale ambities te onderstrepen.

During Paris Blockchain Week 2025, BitcoinMagazine.nl spoke with CEM Saglam from Paribu, a leading crypto and custody platform from Turkey. While the exhibition floor was full with Web3 projects, banks and blockchain companies from all over Europe, Paribu was ready to underline its international ambitions.

“Paris Blockchain Week is een van de grootste blockchain-events in Europa,” begon Saglam. “Het is de plek waar je iedereen tegenkomt: van NFT-startups tot institutionele partijen zoals grote banken. Voor ons is het belangrijk om hier te zijn en Paribu internationaal te positioneren.”

"Paris Blockchain Week is one of the largest blockchain events in Europe," started Saglam. "It is the place where you come across everyone: from NFT startups to institutional parties such as large banks. It is important for us to be here and to position Paribu internationally."

Op de vraag waarom Paribu zichzelf de grootste exchange van Turkije noemt, antwoordt Saglam duidelijk: “Onze gebruikers zijn 100% organisch. We halen geen volumes van externe marktplaatsen; al het handelsvolume komt van onze eigen klanten. Daarnaast bieden we veel meer dan alleen spot trading – dat maakt ons uniek.”

When asked why Paribu calls himself the biggest exchange of Turkey, Saglam answers clearly: "Our users are 100% organic. We do not get volumes of external market places; all the trade volume comes from our own customers. In addition, we offer much more than just spot trading - that makes us unique."

Naast zijn kernactiviteit als crypto-exchange is Paribu inmiddels ook actief op het gebied van B2B-oplossingen. “We hebben nu Paribu Custody, waarmee we veilige bewaaroplossingen aanbieden aan banken en andere platforms – zowel in Turkije als internationaal.”

Toekomstplannen: focus op Web3 en internationale groei

Paribu heeft de blik stevig gericht op de toekomst. Volgens Saglam is de volgende stap de lancering van een eigen Web3-wallet.

Paribu has a strong focus on the future. According to Saglam, the next step is the launch of its own web3 wallet.

“We bouwen verder aan onze infrastructuur. De Web3-wallet wordt een belangrijke toevoeging aan ons ecosysteem. Maar dat is niet alles – we blijven innoveren. Binnenkort lanceren we nog meer oplossingen.”

Hoewel Paribu groot werd als exchange voor consumenten, wil het bedrijf nu ook in het institutionele segment naam maken.
