Cryptocurrency data firm Santiment recently revealed a list of altcoins that have seen significant whale activity over the past week.

Cryptocurrency data firm Santiment recently listed several altcoins that have seen the most activity from whales over the past week.
The crypto analytics firm’s report highlights a notable surge in transactions from large investors, shedding light on which tokens are currently attracting the most attention from high-net-worth players in the market.
Among the top performers, PancakeSwap (CAKE) takes the lead with an astounding 439.71% increase in whale activity. Close behind is USD Coin (USDC) with a remarkable 407.55% surge.
Furthermore, HEX, Mantle (MNT), and Dai (DAI) on the BNB network are also reaping the benefits of increased interest from whales, with percentages ranging from 142% to 275% in activity.
In addition, the WhiteBIT Token (WBT) and Dai on the Avalanche network (DAI) both saw their whale activity completely double over the past week.
Interestingly, despite its relatively low market cap, CAKE managed to attract the most interest from whales. It was also the only altcoin from the list to show a gain in value over the past 24 hours.
Its price is currently down by 16.76% over the past seven days, and it’s the only coin that's in the red.
It’s important to note that this list includes altcoins with a market capitalization of at least $500 million and tracks whale transactions of $100,000 or more.
The significant increase in whale activity across these altcoins signals a potential shift in market dynamics, raising questions about the impact on price trends and overall market sentiment in the days to come.
